The Fact:
There is no doubt that Pakistan is currently facing a number of challenges which are badly effecting its image to the world. But having a few challenges simply does Not mean that Pakistan is an unstable country.
The Matter:
The discussion was around since the early phases of Pakistan Super League (PSL) that the final of PSL 2 (2017) will be held in the city of Lahore ,capital of Punjab Province , Pakistan . Which was a very positive idea to revive the international cricket in the country.

The doubts and the discussions:
The management looked very confident regarding the decision until a very sad incident happened on the Mall Road which took many innocent lives.
After this point the questions were being raised regarding the hosting of PSL final match. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) started discussing the matter with the five franchises of PSL which are
- Lahore Qalandars
- Karachi Kings
- Quetta Gladiators
- Peshawar Zalmi
- Islamabad United
Franchises got agreed on the decision to hold the event in Lahore including green signals from multiple foreign players , which proved to be very positive for the final decision.
But the matter was of national security and including the foreigners so the PCB decided to put the issue in front of higher officials of government and military .
The Final Decision:
The Chief Minister of Punjab held the meeting with the committee which oversees the national matters regarding security and the final decision was announced after later consultation with the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
The Negative Aspects:
- A wave of suspense may spread around regarding the security situation.
- Some militant groups may start threatening the event.
- Few prominent people may also try to oppose the decision to hold the event in Lahore.
The Positive Aspects:
- Pakistani Nation has decided that the event should be held in Lahore , depicting their unity.
- Military and para military forces have provided their services to maintain a high level security for the event.
- Holding the event will nullify the bad image of Pakistan.
- Enemies of the country will be given a sore reply , that the nation is not afraid of you.
- It will result to revive the tourism and will start attracting the international investments.
